Michael Corley

Mike Corley is the founder and Managing Director of Mercatus Energy, a boutique advisory firm focused on global energy commodity markets.

Prior to founding the firm, Mike held various roles in energy trading, risk management, quantitative analysis, derivative structuring and commodity marketing at leading energy trading companies, institutional brokerage firms, and strategy consultancies.

His insights have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, Reuters, CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC, and leading industry publications including Argus, OPIS, Platts, and S&P Global Commodity Insights. He is a frequent speaker at industry conferences and guest lecturer at universities worldwide.

Mike holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the University of Oxford, Saïd Business School.
