Michael R. Corley

Mike Corley is the Founder and Managing Director of Mercatus Energy, which he founded in 2007.

Mr. Corley leads the operations of the firm and advises clients on complex mandates spanning the full range of physical and financial energy commodity markets around the world. Prior to founding the firm, he held leading roles in energy trading, risk management, quantitative analysis, and structured products at El Paso Merchant Energy, TradeSpark, and ARM Energy.

Mr. Corley is a frequent speaker at major industry conferences and guest lecturer at leading universities worldwide. His perspective on energy markets is regularly sought by Argus, Bloomberg, CNBC, Reuters, S&P Global Commodity Insights, and The Wall Street Journal, among others.

Mr. Corley received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma and completed the Executive Leadership Programme at the Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
